Rooms are a bit dated and the 10am check out is a little much but the staff on reception were polite and would have let us check out later if they weren't full the next day. Recommended for a short break to Newcastle. Surprisingly great city to visit.

Reception was most unfriendly on arrival though we paid in advance. We were given the 3rd degree about the booking and had to show ID, which was then photo copied. This has never happened to us in any hotel before. When checking out, had similar poor service. Were not given a copy of the invoice, though others who checked out got theirs. Later we called and got the invoice emailed straight away. Not likely to go back.
